Ambit Energy is now offering electricity service to nearly 1.5 million residential and small commercial customers in Ohio.

The Buckeye State is Ambit’s 15th state (plus Washington D.C.) in which the company offers service. The first territory in Ohio is AEP Ohio. Customers can enroll for service beginning today, Oct. 30.

Ambit, headquartered in Dallas, announced the Ohio expansion at the company’s 9th annual AMBITION conference, which hosted more than 8,000 entrepreneurs from all around the country to provide informative training, networking opportunities and presentations from guest speakers, including Mike Eruzione, captain of the “Miracle on Ice” 1980 Winter Olympic hockey gold medal team, and John C. Maxwell, internationally renowned leadership expert, coach and author.
