The Little Hairstyle Club is a monthly subscription box full of instructions and hairstyle accessories for parents with daughters aged between 4 – 8.  The Club enables parents to learn how to do their daughters hair whilst empowering their daughters to be the girl all other girls aspire to be like.  Every month Tammy curates a new box tied into either seasonal events such as Halloween, Easter and Christmas or themes including Barbie, Mermaids and Pride.  Says Tammy, “Subscribers receive a monthly box complete with a new hairstyle, full, easy-to-follow ‘how to’ instructions and everything they need to go from ‘no can do’ to ‘hair hero’ in their daughters’ eyes!”

Reflecting on where the idea for The Little Hairstyle Club came from Tammy said, “I heard a really emotional story about a man whose best friend’s wife had died leaving his friend as the sole parent.  What happened to his friend made him think about what would happen if his own wife was no longer around and so he sat watching YouTube videos so he could learn how to put his daughter’s hair up into a ponytail.  He couldn’t do a simple ponytail and felt awful as a result.  I shared the story with some of my clients and they all said the same thing – ‘My husband would be exactly the same’.

“My research also revealed to me just how many mums struggle doing their daughters hair.  The stress, anxiety and arguments that result from hair requests that daughters make which many mums just can’t do is incredible.  I realised that just because I know how to do hair doesn’t mean others do and I knew I could help.  It was a real lightbulb moment and that’s when The Little Hairstyle Club came into existence.  I want, through The Little Hairstyle Club, to empower parents with hair skills so that their daughters feel confident, beautiful and included.  Confident girls grow into confident women who can do anything and that’s really important.  From that point I started developing the idea and came up with a monthly subscription box which includes everything a parent would need to learn how to do a new hairstyle and, at the same time, focuses on creating confidence in girls building precious memories they’ll never forget.”

An Introduction Box is available from The Little Hairstyle Club at £29.99 with subscribers being able to choose from a three (£27 per month), six (£25.50 per month) or twelve month (£23.50 per month) plan.  Each box comes complete with a step-by-step hairstyle guide, hair accessories, positive affirmations, salon professional hair product, sweet treat, fashion accessory and special gift.  Contents vary from month to month.  Adds Tammy, “Subscribers feedback has been great with many commenting on how easy the instructions are to follow, how much their daughters love the results and how siblings want their hair doing once they see what another has had done!”
