Ultimate BBQ Burger

Has the typical British weather scuppered your BBQ plans? Fear not! We have the Ultimate Indoor BBQ recipe that will keep burgers firmly on the menu! Add a sizeable squeeze of Primula Burger Cheese for that classic burger taste no matter the weather. Phew!

Serves: 3

Ingredients:

500g British beef mince (15% fat)

1 tbsp black treacle

2 tsp smoked paprika

2 cloves of garlic, minced 

½ onion, finely diced

Salt and pepper

To Serve:

180g Primula Burger Cheese

4 bread buns

4 slices of white bread

Gherkins

Lettuce

Method:

– Combine the burger ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

– Using your hands, bring the mixture together ensuring the ingredients are evenly mixed. Season to taste.

– Using your hands or a burger press, shape into 6 burgers and refrigerate until ready to cook.

– Place on the BBQ or skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.

– Serve on a toasted bread bun with lettuce, gherkins, and a generous squeeze of Primula Burger Cheese.
