Facebook is no doubt the largest social platform existing still now which connects people all over the world sitting right from anywhere else. Information Technology creates products to make our day to day life easier. But human beings always misuse every other thing and Facebook had gradually become the biggest platform for extremists triggering or involved in violence, terrorists and dreaded terror organisations like ISIS and Al-Qaeda. The religious extremists and terror organisations misused Facebook's biggest network for their recruitment purpose, spreading hatred, promoting violence, riots and terrorist attacks around the world killing thousands of innocent people. Facebook's platform provides them with better coordination and success in promoting their activities and thus there is an urgent need for filtering different contents and verify profiles which are by any means connected with terrorism and violent activities.  

Following recent Cambridge Analytica scandal in which Facebook is found guilty of breaching its privacy policy and sharing personal information of 87 million users to third parties for advertisement purpose in the way it is not supposed to do according to its policy. Moreover, Facebook also collected personal data of phone calls and text messages of millions of android users through its mobile application. The above incidents is followed by severe outrage from users all over the world and Facebook has been forced to introduce major changes in its privacy policy  that will enable users to control what information they want Facebook to collect about them. Now another giant leap taken by Facebook from the starting of this year is to control Facebook's content to prevent spread of terror activities. Facebook is now thoroughly filtering its every contents and either removed or added content warnings to 1.9 millions contents related to major extremists terror group like ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Most of these contents which are removed by Facebook over last 3 months have not been reported by users and Facebook's content management team itself filtered out such prohibited contents and improved their algorithms for better filtering of their contents. Facebook is always the main platform for terrorist organisations to target the youths and brainwash them for joining terrorist activities and spreading religious extremism with violence. So Facebook is now more concerned about this serious issue and thoroughly filtering every content with the help of their content management team and updated algorithms to prevent any contents related to terrorism, violence or any extremist ideas promoting violence from further spreading over the Facebook's entire social network.
