Users are advised to immediately change their password for Twitter account due to a bug that has exposed all password

One of the most popular social media giant Twitter with 330 million users faced a very serious threat due to a bug in their internal system that has exposed the passwords of almost all its users, thus posing a serious threat to everyone's Twitter account. There has been an issue in the hashing process that code the Password with string of characters for storing them in Twitter's system that give rise to a serious bug. This bug has saved all user passwords in plain text in their system's internal log instead of coding them with string characters. Twitter itself have found this bug and has deleted the password log and going through severe checkup of their systems to prevent such incident in future. Certain facts like how many passwords have been leaked and how long the bug has exposed the passwords until it has been found and fixed are still unclear with no official answers. But the company is now asking its entire 330 million user base to change their Twitter account password immediately. A pop-up message asking for password change is coming on the Twitter's home screen just after logging in your account. The message contains a button that provides a direct link to the password changing menu. First correctly enter your current password then enter your new password and confirm it again and finally save it. You will also see a relieving message from the side of Twitter after saving. These things indicate the severity of the incidents and can give us an approximate idea of how many passwords have been exposed and for how long the bug have been active before its detection.
