AI driven Healthcare Startup Mfine has secured a fresh funding of $4.2 Mn in the series A funding round. The round was led by Prime Venture Partners while several of the existing investors including Stellaris Venture Partners also participated in the round.

Mfine said that it will look to capitalize the fresh infusion of funds by building hospital networks across newer cities and strengthening their technology backend. Besides, it aims to top up nearly 1 Lakh consultations by end of the current financial year.

Mfine was founded in December last year by Prasad Kompalli and Ashutosh Lawania, both of whom were top executives in the well-known fashion startup Myntra. This Healthcare startup basically offers on-demand consultation service through its mobile application. Currently, it offers services only in the selected cities, with the plans to launch services in the IT city of Bengaluru later this year.

Mfine also offers ‘AI powered healthcare platform.’ Through this platform, it seeks to increase the overall productivity of doctors by instantly offering them rich data about their patients.
