Tollywood is like a land of superstars. Massy heroes with appeal and popularity that even leaves Bollywood surprised at times. In recent years, Telugu cinema has grown leaps and bounds and one actor who has risen to the top in this process is Allu Arjun. A major reason why Allu Arjun is able to get such a fan following is his connection to the youth. With his uber stylish and cool persona, he is an inspiration for guys and a heartthrob for women.

Now the reason Allu Arjun is being talked about here is his latest release Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India. Joining with Race Gurram writer Vakkantham Vamsi who makes his directorial debut with his movie, Arjun dons a new avatar here – A Soldier. But then, many have done that role before. So why would Allu Arjun fans watch the movie? Well, apart from the aforementioned novelty factor, there are a number of reasons why Allu Arjun fans would love to check out this movie again and again. Here are a few of those reasons:

A Different Role:

In the past, Arjun has played the roles of college students, wedding planner, assassins, historical figures etc. He even took up the role of a Brahmin cook and aced it in Duvvada Jagannadham. But for the first time in his career, he takes up the role of a soldier. Along with the crew cut hairdo and the fit physique, his performance really had the feel of a soldier’s spirit.

The Themes:

The film starts out with a focus on Surya’s (Allu Arjun) anger management skills and the repercussions of it. It was interesting to see how anger can have some serious consequences on an individual’s life. But then, the movie goes into this zone of what happens when people are silent spectators to atrocities. I am just scratching the tip of the iceberg here when talking about the diverse themes addressed in the movie.

Action Sequences :

This movie features some of the most spectacular action sequences here. The biggest highlight being the brawl at the bar and the fight between Allu Arjun and the villain on the road in the middle of the film. The fight choreography during the bar fight especially was incredibly swift, inventive and a treat to watch.

Performances and Writing:

Keeping the best aspects for the last, the performances and writing are the biggest highlights of the film. The way Vakkantham Vamsi weaves the story of a soldier through various issues faced by people was simply incredible. The cherry on the cake was the spectacular performance by Allu Arjun who look the part in every aspect. Even in supporting roles, Arjun Sarja, Rao Ramesh and Boman Irani made the powerful presence felt in the film.

So, those were the reasons why Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India is a must-watch for Allu Arjun fans who haven’t seen it yet. For those wanting to watch it, they can find the movie on ZEE5 where it can be streaming along with many other awesome Telugu movies and shows. So, go ahead and check it out.
