Viewing the card "Achieve" from these happiness cards, instantly gives me a thought and how I relate to the word from a "transforming human being" point of view. An instant smile will indicate how happy I am with the word.
Certainly one of the top 5 benefits, that many people report, after completing their Landmark Forum, (mine was in October 1993), is a breakthrough in confidence. I certainly can attest to learning about who I am being, moment by moment by moment, such that I can generate 'ways of being' that touches, moves and inspires people, (see generating blog).
I note that one powerful distinctions I learned from my Landmark Forum was on day 1 (see syllabus here) and it was called rackets, (read more here). Any persistent complaint in your life can truly be transformed by firstly distinguishing the complaint from two points of view. Given one of mine was never really achieving anything news worthy, I started the Ceasefire Project on 15 September 1995, which hit national Channel 10 News in Australia and CNN News Internationally. Interesting is the insight that all I wanted, was to prove to my father was that I can make good news.
Why?
Well , my father rarely watched "the goggle box" with me and my brother when we were growing up. The only time dad would watch the television with us would be the news, and British soccer (we lived in Hong Kong). Ever since, I have always had this dream to achieve the news, whilst Dad was alive. Thanks to Landmark, I fulfilled this dream and really achieved good news that forwarded the conversation for World Peace, now updated to World Peace by Tuesday 15 September 2020.
