The ultimate test of a man’s conscience is his willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose words of thanks will not be heard.
The reward for America's failure to understand History, much less remember it accurately, is the sad truth that comes with it - that each of us will now shoulder over $60,000.00 in government debt, the prospect of substandard healthcare, continued high under-employment and an increasing population who is dependent on food stamps and welfare. It seems that the politics of pop culture have led to only one outcome - malaise.
As a conservative who happens to be gay, I am constantly being asked (usually with a scowl) ‘How can you, as a gay man, possibly be a conservative?' Apart from the offensive idea that all gay men must share the same liberal ideology, I am not defined by my sexuality. I am a proud American Veteran, who pays his taxes and is blessed to be able to work each and every day. Just as a heterosexual person is not solely defined by his/her sexual orientation – it’s a case of stereotying, isn't it, to say that your entire being begins and ends with your sexual orientation? For me, nothing could be more sad than those who have nothing more to give or contribute in life and must, no demand, for something which is entirely, in the scope of history, unnecessary.
As I have been characterized as having "a problem", for me, the problem is with my fellow, gay Intolerant and demanding "friends" who are so damn self-absorbed that they cannot fathom living in a country where they are not completely loved and accepted by everyone. They believe in being accorded and must receive special recognition for being gay and have significant privileges. They believe that they have a right to force people to stifle their own beliefs so that they may openly live however they choose. Yet, they don't see the irony of their own, intolerant positions.

Their self-absorption is so extreme that every other important issue, seemingly, is ignored. So what if, in refusing to enforce DOMA, President Obama effectively flouted the law he was tasked to uphold? So what if Obamacare actually ruined health care in this country as long as it contained gay-friendly provisions? So what if it forced people to act against their castle of conscience? So what if joblessness was high, our recovery from recession was poor, and record numbers were on assistance because the cost of living skyrocketed during the last eight years? So what if Obama weakened our ability to defend ourselves against terrorists? So what if other civil liberties go down the drain? As long as he’s “gay-friendly” as liberal statists define “friendly,” then he’s okay with them.
A typical gay, liberal montra is: "...you just wait when your beloved job that gives you your beloved money is taken away from you because you are gay..." Uh…exactly where does this happen? From my experience, most of the time, it’s become casually known that I’m gay. Nobody cares...ever! And, on the rare occasion where someone did, it’s usually some patronizing liberal.
Only those who know their history, ask yourself: Are communist regimes and Islamist militant nations tolerant of homosexuality? Can a case be made that they are "gay friendly"? The answer is a resounding "NO" because these forms of government, who can only be described as truly intolerant ones, have a repulsive history of discrimination towards homosexuals. So for those of you who would rather live elsewhere, don't let me or the country I love stop you from seeking refuge elsewhere.

Frankly, I’m more afraid of Islam and what that intolerant religion brings to this country through its illegal immigrants. One only has to look to Denmark, France, Germany, Norway and Sweden to see what Muslims are doing to kill, maim and discriminate against my gay brothers and sisters.
