Women’s History Month: 4 Women Of Color Who Inspires And Make The World A Better Place

Who run the world? Girls!

It is finally women's history month! A call for us Women to altogether celebrate women's success and achievements. A salute to all strong and persevering women around the world who continuously combat discrimination, abuse, stereotypes, and bias in their households and workplace.

These empowered women who take action for equality are exemplary role models for young women to look up to:

Stacey Abrams, who throughout her career, has always been committed to tackling social issues on both the state and national levels. She also founded and supported multiple organizations dedicated to women’s voting rights, training, and hiring young people of color.

Keisha Lance Bottoms, the mayor of Atlanta who established the city's first fully-staffed Mayor’s office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion known as One Atlanta.

Michelle Obama, the first African-American First Lady who has become a role model for women and an advocate for healthy families, higher education, and built an adolescent girls education program that empowers young women!

And of course, Oprah Winfrey, who, despite her tragic childhood, became one of the most influential women of her time, and became the first African American woman on Forbes' list of billionaires with groundbreaking major awards and businesses!

What amazing lady bosses we have here, right?

We are all naturally driven by determination and willpower to fight against all odds, whether in life or in business. Indeed, the fire in us women to learn and grow surely will not burn out. We celebrate these achievements and successes not just on International Women’s Day but we should recognize them every day.
