Beauty Haul February 2018

So something about January and February made me feel a little spendy and I’ve also been lucky enough to get a few gifts too from my boyfriend. I realised that I had accumulated bits and pieces here and there and thought it would be good to put them all together into one post – I hope you like it!

I’m going to start with the one new Hair product that I picked up and that’s the Fudge Urban Sea Salt Spray, since I’ve not been dyeing my hair recently it’s back to it’s usual condition of being very silky and soft which is great expect for the fact that I have little texture to my hair! Salt sprays do usually dry my hair out to the extreme but since my hair has been slightly on the oilier side I think I’ll be okay with it. I did also pick up the Colab Dry Shampoo in Original which is my current go-to since it reduces oil but without a heavy white cast.

This month I seem to have bought a lot of skincare products which is good since I’m often guilty of buying tons of makeup! I’m not going to go into too much depth here but I did pick up the Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Charcoal Mask I reviewed this earlier in the week but just in case you missed it I had an allergic reaction – yay! Another mask I got was a set from Glamglow, this was on special offer at Boots and includes  a full size of the Supermud Mask and then three other minis of the hydrating, firming and exfoliating treatments, I’ve not used Glamglow before so I’m excited to try these.

Sticking with skincare I repurchased the Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Cream since it’s an affordable radiant eye cream and since I like the eye cream and hydrating mist I also picked up the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser to try. The final skincare product was bought on a whim but also because I’d nearly used my Vichy Aqualia Thermale serum and that is the Nip & Fab Dragonsblood Serum.

Of course, being a makeup addict I had to get some bits, first up is a repurchase and that is the MUA Pro Eyeshadow Base there is probably better out there but this is affordable and functional. Sticking on the budget beauty front I also picked up the Collection Primed and Ready Pore Primer since my pores are insane at the moment and the ELF HD Powder in Sheer as I’ve wanted to try a loose powder for ages – I’ve not tried either of the latter products so I’m looking forward to trying them.

Other newness I picked up included the Nip and Fab Green Concealer since my skin is horribly red and the Barry M Under the Sea Nail Polish in Jellyfish since I love Barry M polished and I couldn’t resist this duochorome. Spectrum Brushes have landed in Boots which was a welcome surprise so I did pick up a fan brush, my first Spectrum brush I’m so excited!

I did get spoiled this month, firstly the Too Faced Diamond Fire Highlighter has been recently launched. I feel hard for the packaging looking at pictures online and my lovely boyfriend bought me it which was a lovely surprise. He did also get me some bits from Cult Beauty for Valentine’s including: The Ordinary Coverage Foundation, Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk, Nuxe Rev De Miel Lip Balm and the Jouer Longwear Lip Cream in Cassis  – all of which I’m excited to try!

That does conclude this haul but I get the feeling I’ll have another one go up at some point maybe next month since I do have an upcoming shopping trip planned (insert all the shifty eyes!)
