Listening To: October

My life has been consumed by assignments and binge watching all the shows I’ve had on my list for a while now (at least while GoT is on hiatus), so music has kind of been put to the side. There’s a few albums I’ve been wanting to check out, though, so I thought I’d share!

ALBUMS

Daughter – Music From Before The Storm

I did a whole ‘Women In Music’ post on Daughter, so you all know how much I adore everything they put out. This was no exception. I haven’t played or seen the original Life Is Strange, but I did watch a stream of Before The Storm and already it has one of my favourite soundtracks.

St Vincent – Marry Me

I remember trying to listen to St Vincent a few years ago when her self titled album came out, and not falling completely for her music. But I want to give her a proper chance now, and starting with her debut album seemed like a good place to start.

Vallis Alps – Fable

When I was 17/18 I saw Vallis Alps live, and fell in love with a new song (at the time) they played. Somehow I managed to forget all about it, and haven’t really listened to their stuff since, but ‘Serity’ came up on my Spotify suggested tracks and it all came flooding back. I haven’t been a huge fan of some of their singles, but I did love their first EP and want to give this one a try.
