Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime announces retirement

Reggie Fils-Aime, the president and COO of Nintendo of America, has announced that he is going to retire. His last day in his current position will be April 15th.

He has been with Nintendo of America for 15 years, and 13 of those years he has been president and COO of NoA. Doug Bowser, NOA’s current Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will take over as president when Reggie steps down.

Reggie recorded a video message for fans of Nintendo, which you can see below. We will miss his appearances on Nintendo Directs. He has been a huge part of Nintendo’s success in the past decade.
