The property is gearing up for a large-scale rebranding and renovation.

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – Lakehouse Resort, the 250-acre property on the banks of Lake San Marcos owned by PE Management Group, announce the appointment of Michael Savastano as General Manager. Savastano will oversee all facets of the property, including golf, marina, sales, events, food and beverage and resort.

Savastano is a 16-year veteran of Hyatt hotels, having strategized, trained and opened numerous hotels and resorts throughout the world, including properties in the U.S., Caribbean, Latin America and Asia. Most recently, Savastano was Resort Manager of Alila Marea Beach Resort in Encinitas, California, the first new-build luxury resort in the Americas for Alila. There, he helped to oversee the successful launch of Hyatt’s most exciting luxury and lifestyle offerings.

“I was immediately drawn to the energy of Lakehouse due to its unlimited offerings for resort guests and the local community. The property which was purchased by PE Management Group in 2020, has undergone a number of changes and will complete a next stage of rebranding later this year, amplifying the destination as a top resort in Southern California.
