Pornhub has partnered with Verge Cryptocurrency in accepting anonymous payments.

Pornhub, a major player in the pornography world, has started accepting Cryptocurrency as a payment option.

In a post made on its website, the company announced the partnership with Verge Cryptocurrency, a rebranded version of Dogecoindark. Users can now pay for its services including its premium subscription anonymously.

The company’s adult sister sites, Brazzers and Nutaku, will soon accept Verge cryptocurrency following the announcement as well.

“We’re all about convenience and security, which makes cryptocurrency an attractive form of payment for us,” Corey Price, VP at Pornhub tells Hard Fork.

“We’ve been looking at crypto for quite some time and, while overall adoption is relatively low, we think it has gained enough steam for us to penetrate the market.”

Justin Sunerok, Verge founder and lead developer, is also optimistic. “This partnership represents an enormous market with a global reach that will compete with fiat currencies.”

“It’s huge for Verge and we’re extremely excited to finally be able to announce it,” he adds.

Pornhub plans to continue exploring blockchain-powered payments in the future with more services and products integrated.
