Jurgen Klopp has challenged Liverpool to win more games when his players aren’t performing well after Sunday afternoon’s 2-1 win against Burnley.
The Merseyside outfit hosted Burnley in the Premier League as Liverpool looked to record back-to-back top-flight victories for the first time in 2017.
Liverpool were 3-1 winners against top-four rivals Arsenal last weekend to hoist Klopp’s side into the top four with 11 games to go in the top-four race.
However, Ashley Barnes broke the deadlock for the visitors in the ninth minute to silence the Anfield crown and leave Liverpool contemplating the prospect of more dropped points.
But Georginio Wijnaldum levelled the clash on the stroke of half-time before Germany international Emre Can netted a second-half winner at Anfield.
Speaking to BBC Sport about whether he was happy with Liverpool’s ugly win, Klopp said:
“Absolutely. I love it. We do it now every week.”
