Temperature Breaking Records In India, Maharashtra’s Bhira Town Records A searing 46.5 Degrees

It’s not officially summers yet and the temperatures are already breaking records. The rate at which the Heat increases by each passing day is alarming.

On Tuesday Maharashtra’s Bhira Town recorded 46.5 Degrees temperature and its only March! There are other towns of Maharashtra that are facing the same heat blaze- Akola recorded 44.1 Degree Celsius, om Wednesday.

According to a TOI report – M Mohapatra, , DGM of IMD’s National Weather Forecasting Centre said – “Hot Conditions, including heat waves, are likely to continue till Saturday (April 1), after which temperatures may drop by a degree or two.”

Heat wave warnings have been issued for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, south UP, south Haryana, Chandigarh and interior Odisha.

The IMD’s seasonal forecast for March-April this year has predicted higher than normal average temperatures in the country. It said northwest India could be around one degree hotter than normal, the added further.
