Joey Badass and EV Bravado have something in store for New York Fashion Week.

On Thursday night, the Pro Era rapper announced he and the NYC-based brand will host a one-day pop-up shop for their politically charged collaborative capsule. 

The collection, which was previewed on EV BRAVADO’s Instagram this week, will include bold streetwear staples like hoodies, tees, sweatshirts, and beanies, all of which were inspired by Joey’s All-Amerikkkan Badass album, as well as the brand’s “Make America Suck Again” slogan.

EV BRAVADO was co-founded by Everard Best, aka Murder Bravado, in 2016. The designer, who previously helmed Lease on Life Society, has received plenty of love from Joey in the past. Best actually spoke about Joey’s co-sign and their shared political views in an exclusive Q&A with Grailed last year.

“There’s a message in my stuff. You have your message and I have mine,” he said. “This is my point of view. But it’s been great and it speaks to people, like the homie Joey Bada$$ who wore my stuff in one of his videos. His most recent album is extremely poignant as far as our country’s social climate right now.”

The Joey Badass x Ev Bravado pop-up event will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at 176 Ludlow St. in NYC.
