The Shadow of Christ in the Law of Moses

The short story is that I just have to share this gem of an Ebook with you.

I’m not sure how I found this particular ebook but it is, without doubt, one of, if not the, most beautiful and wondrous books I have ever read. If anyone wants to honestly understand how the Old Testament and New Testament are bound together in Jesus Christ, this is the book to go through, from beginning to end. There are of course two Testaments, the Old and the New, but these two Testaments are truly one. This particular ebook, like no other that I have ever read, takes you, step by step, through this wondrous realization. If you are a relatively new Christian, you need to read this book. If you are a mature Christian but have never grasped how the Old Testament and the New Testament mould together like hand and glove, you need to read this book. This book is a faith builder, this book brings to life, God’s Revelation, God’s plan – the Bible.

Just so you know, I myself and still working my way through this book.

VERN POYTHRESS serves as Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Westminster Theological Seminary. He is also Editor of the Westminster Theological Journal. His wide-ranging interests allow him to write with theological depth in areas as divergent as linguistics, mathematics, science, and sociology.

Poythress joined the Westminster faculty in 1976 and has also served as an instructor at the Summer Institute of Linguistics.

And, this book, is available, for free, in two parts online as an ebook.
