"The song ends but the melody lingers on........"

I apologise for not being punctual. I have been busy with School work and it left me with less time to think and write.
Today, at school, in the seventh period, our teacher recieved a letter that  said that my friend's sister had come to pick her up. She stood up and starting packing up her bag in a haste. I noticed that her hands were shaking. She mumbled that her grandfather was in the hospital. On further reading the letter, the teacher announced that someone had passed away. She heard this and her eyes welled up. She started sobbing. Immediately everyone around stood up and started consoling her and help her pack her bag. I hugged her and told her to take care.
This left everyone in the class shocked.
Death comes unannounced and displaces us from our daily routine. Overcome with emotions, I decided to do what I do best and a pen and paper.
I wrote her a letter-

Dear friend,
Just a few days ago, we had a little conversation in the Hindi period. I told you that I feel that life is incomplete without death. To know what life really means we need to know death.
Your grandfather's demise will give you this experience. Hold on. Take a deep breath. I'll pray for the peace of you , your family and your grandfather.

Believe me, all that's gone is his material form.  He will forever be immortal in the eyes of those who loved him.
He has inscribed many tales on your heart. It is time you remember those and smile.
Smile, for, that is where his happiness lies. Let him exist through you. Remember him for his good deeds and learn from his mistakes.

Look up at the sky and you will be able to see him look down on you and smile. He will forever be alive.

Your friend.
