CHAPTER 4 October : The Miracle...

The college seems to be coolest place for any fresher. Making friends at any college is never a big deal. The co-Ed system always tries to make the environment for everyone tension free and cozy for learning. Here girls and boys can make a group and have fun accordingly whenever they get some spare time apart from the academics   you’ll find the lectures more beautiful and interesting if you like the subject but if you didn't like the subject the Teacher can be the reason to make you to get interested in the subject. Just like a normal kid, Ragav never liked the mathematics.  Even the lectures of maths seem to be boring for him. But one day there was a miracle, there was a substitute teacher for the lecture. The first thing any boy will outcry was “wow”.  Her name was Sneha she was in her thirties but still she looked like a student in their class. With this miracle the boring lecture seems to be more interesting and even though the toughest problem for everyone was simpler one. An American philosopher said “Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system”. You will never understand the true meaning of method and techniques but the word “heart” plays a major role for Ragav in this context.  If the heart wants to learn something apart from beatings and pumping the blood you should have a good teacher to teach. And mathematics turned to be most favourite subject for Ragav.
Back at the hostel, Ragav and room mates turned to be the most enjoying soles between the fresher. The endless late night playing cricket in the room was the important game they played. The chaos was too load that even the night guards were fed up with their nuisances. Once they bought playing card and the whole scene of the student’s normal dorm converted to club where everyone can come and play any choice of their game. But of course this had to done in being underground and also maintaining secrecy.
Apart from enjoyment the college studies also go hand in hand for an engineer. You have to write 10-12 Assignment per week though the assignment is copied from others or self written. The assignments plays important role in the marking schemes of any engineer. If you as any engineering student “what are you doing tonight? Are you free?”. He will have only one default reply “No dude i have an assignment to write and has to submitted within 2 days..”. but still some of them managed to escape writing the assignments and have their own routing having fun.
The Ganesh festival is one of the vibrant times of Maharastrain Culture. Everyone has their way of celebrating this festival. Maharastiran bring an idol of God Ganesh which is worshipped for ten days. If you visit any corner of Kolhapur city you will find an Ganesh Idol decorated with flowers and gold within a pandal. The loud music system adds value to the pandals.Rajampuri the city centre for shopping is always crowed with pedestrians during this season.
