Ryan Reynolds revealed the incident

Ryan Reynolds, one of the most passionate dudes to ever be cool, must have marked his entire filmography news before his sights when he was almost smashed to smithereens at CCXP over the weekend. While there to promote Free Guy, the action hero clearly inspired the people so much that they nearly actually killed him. It’s kind of crazy, but he’s now revealed the incident, describing what happened.

the Deadpool star had the following to share: “Well, the law failed and that was small, I think it seemed worse than it was. All I was anxious about were the people that were — what you could tell is that they were dropping, like, ‘Oh, they’re gonna be fine,’ and it’s like, ‘Oh, but that leg is gonna go,’ so I jumped out. But it was, yeah, everyone was fine.”

Ryan continued by saying that his partner, Blake Lively, told him to “come home in one piece.” He appeared to smile before continuing: “So, that was my exclusive job.” And ya know what? He pulled it off, almost flawlessly!

How this all Occurred

How this all occurred was as he was stepping up to the stage to communicate to the hundreds of starved followers, Ryan was waving at everyone when, all of the sudden, one of the barriers keeping the crowd from the walkway fell swiftly. Reynolds had to jump up and out of the way onto another barrier to evade getting his legs broken under the wooden construction. After the usual dust ended though, the actor sprang back to his feet to check on the crowd itself, making sure everyone was okay.

He’s laughing about it too, so why shouldn’t we? It nearly makes me laugh to think about getting seriously hurt while promoting Free Guy though, a film that appears to be moving approximately nobody but Ryan Reynolds himself.
