Alexander Zverev from Germany has taken home the Citi Open trophy. The victory of 6-4, 6-4 makes it Alexander’s fourth ATP Title this year, winning over South African veteran Kevin Anderson. The twenty year old has joined Rafael Nadal as a four time ATP winner in 2017, and Roger Federer who has won five titles in 2017.

In the women’s Citi Open Tournament Ekaterina Markarova from Russia defeated Julia Goerges from Germany in a 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-0 victory. The win is Makarova’s first WTA title in more than three years.
