Due to the fall in crude oil prices in the international market, prices of Petrol and diesel have declined for the third consecutive day on Saturday in the Indian market. In four major metros, petrol is 18 to 20 paise and diesel 11 to 15 paise is cheaper. Petrol in Delhi decreased by 19 paise to 78.99 rupees and diesel 11 paise to Rs 73.53 per liter.
On Saturday, the prices of both fuels were Rs 84.49 and Rs 77.06 per liter respectively. In other big metro cities, petrol in Kolkata was priced at Rs 8.89 per liter and in Chennai, it was Rs 82.06 per liter. Diesel prices are priced at Rs 75.39 and Rs 77.73 per liter respectively. Price decreed by VAT on both fuels in Noida, adjacent to the capital, is lower than that of Delhi. Petrol at Rs 77.14 and diesel at Rs 71.80 per liter.
