Aijalon Mahli Gomes sentenced to 8 years in N. Korea!

A North Korean Citizen comes into the U.S. illegally and is caught by American border patrol officers. The North Korean citizen is held for a couple days and then notified that he must leave the country within a time period of 24 hours or so, or he will be deported by the U.S. back to his country. This seems pretty bad to many people, heck some would say it is all out cruel. Well, North Korea claims that American Citizen Aijalon Mahli entered their country illegally and should pay for this illegal entry. I can understand how this could be illegal, but eight years of hard labor for illegal entry into a foreign country. I can only describe this with a few words, this is fracked up! North Korea has dipped into a new low, using American citizens as political pawns. Come on North Korea, I understand that your laws may have been broken, but the sentence clearly is so far out of reasonable, that it should disgust even the most strict of N. Korean citizens. The United States might not be perfect, but for a nation that is younger than any other nation, we sure don't act like we were just born yesterday. Wake up North Korea, take your long history and put it to use. It is time to put the problems of your past in the past and look into the future. There is no future without using the problems of our past and learning from them.
