The operatives of the Lagos State Police Command announced the arrest of the leaders of a syndicate who specializes in manufacturing Fake Foreign Currencies in Mushin, Lagos Mainland, today, Monday, April 23, 2018.
According to the Police, the leaders of the gang, Chukwu Emeka Okafor and Oyemuchi Nwoko were apprehended with the fake Foreign Currencies in the community.
Eyes Of Lagos gathered that the syndicate uses various forms of chemicals to mint foreign currencies such as American Dollars, Pound Sterling, Euro, Franc among many others.
“The suspects confessed belonging to a 419 syndicate headed by one Kapo Alhaji who resides in Akala, Mushin community,” the Police said.
