From the great mind of Ana Lily Amirpour, Kate Hudson and Jun Jong See star in this dark comedy thriller called, Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon. Amirpour also directed the film, and Lauren Conlin interviewed the screenwriter/director along with one of her stars, Kate Hudson! The two gushed over each other, and how much they enjoyed working together and making this film.

Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon is like no movie you’ve seen-it’s a bit of sci-fi, dark comedy, adventure and GIRL POWER all rolled into one movie.  In this wild journey through the streets of New Orleans, a mental patient with supernatural powers (Jun Jong See) meets a struggling single mom (Kate Hudson), and the pair embark on a bizarre crime spree, until a detective (Craig Robinson) threatens to put a stop to their hedonistic spree. The film also stars Ed Skrein and Evan Whitten.
