You've probably come across an image of this Lighthouse before (from another perspective).
Neist Point lighthouse is a really popular motif for photographers at the very end of the beautiful Isle of Skye in Scotland.

Still many people drive the tiny single-lane road to the end of the island to enjoy this beautiful place. And it is well worth it!
The lighthouse is situated on the very end on top of the cliffs. Once you arrive at the parking point it's a short hike trough the cliffs next to some of the bravest sheep I've ever seen. They really didn't care about the dead-drops all around them.

We couldn't go in the lighthouse itself, as it's privately owned. We talked to a lady who runs a little shop at the parking point and she told us that she usually lives there with a couple of other people. What a luck to be in this refuge! Especially in the winter when the tourists are gone ^^

After we took a look at the lighthouse we continued to head to the end of the cliffs and ended up at a rock formation that could only be made by lava. As this was rather far out in the sea, we found many fisherman looking for a good catch.

If you ever have the chance, definitively check out the Isle of Skye in Scotland! It's such a beautiful piece of the world. I can understand why the inhabitants almost religiously love it.
