The Srm University, Chennai is inviting admission applications of the interested and eligible candidates to enroll themselves for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for the academic session 2016. The duration of the programme will be two years.

About SRM University

The SRM University, located in Chennai, is considered as one of the top ranking universities in India with over 20,000 students and 1,500 faculties. It has an offering of a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Engineering, Management, Medicine and Health sciences etc.

Educational qualification:

The interested and eligible candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate of 60 percent.

Selection procedure

The interested candidates will have to appear for the SRM Common Admission Test (SRMCAT). Those candidates who already have a valid score in GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, CMAT are also eligible to apply. A merit list of the shortlisted candidates will be prepared based on which the short-listed candidates will be called for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).

How to apply

The interested and eligible candidates are required to apply at the official website. The candidates are supposed to pay the application fee of Rs 1,000 online or through demand draft. If they are paying through DD, the filled application should be downloaded and sent with the DD drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai to ‘The Director, The Directorate of Admissions, SRM University, Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu 603203′.

Important dates

The last date for receiving the filled-in application: April 15, 2016.

The test will be conducted: April 23 and 24, 2016.
