SnackSack September 2017 Subscription Box Review & Coupon Code

September 2017 SnackSack review time!

If you haven’t heard, SnackSack is a Subscription Box that focuses on delivering natural, “junk-free” snacks to your door every month. All of the snacks included will be free of “artificial junk” and offer a mixture of all natural, vegan, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fair trade products. They’ll all be tucked inside a reusable burlap sack, which is shipped in a large box for ultimate snack protection.

Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.

Subscriptions are $22/month with free shipping. Discounts are also available for multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “ROSE25″!

Let’s see what’s in the September 2017 SnackSack!

The box!

A peek inside.

A full-color info sheet listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. It also included ways to earn free snacks, a coupon code, and more.

SnackSack has retired their original burlap sack and now sends a handy, more attractive reusable tote to subscribers instead.

Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn

This popcorn is delicious and has just 3 all natural ingredients: corn, sunflower oil, and sea salt. It also has only 80 calories per bag.

Hannah Max Sea Salted Caramel Cookie Chips

Crispy cookie “chips” made without artificial flavors, GMOs, colors, trans fats, or preservatives. Ingredients include enriched wheat flour, brown cane sugar, unsalted butter, cage free eggs, and sea salt.

You Love Fruit Passion Fruit Punch

I first discovered this fruit leather in another snack subscription box and have enjoyed seeing it pop up ever since. It’s made with 100% organic fruit and tastes like a grown up, healthier (but still delicious!) version of a Fruit Roll-Up. SO good!!

Fruit Bliss Organic Turkish Mini Figs

Juicy, organic whole fruit figs, sun dried and infused with a touch of water. These contain no added sugar or sulfur and are non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free.

Vegan Rob’s Tumeric Chips

Okay, I’m really curious if the person in charge of proofreading this package got fired for spelling “turmeric” wrong. I get that it’s a tricky word, but in the age of spell check there’s no excuse. (Can you tell that I was once a full-time proofreader? ) That aside, I’ve had a few other products from Vegan Rob’s and always found them to be enjoyable. I’m sure these chips will be just as tasty. And “tumeric”-y.

KIND Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt Bar

I was happy to see a KIND bar in this month’s box because I legit eat one every single day for breakfast. My go-to is the dark chocolate peanut butter, but this one looks pretty fantastic as well. I love that these bars have simple ingredients and aren’t loaded with sugar like lots of other brands.

Ally’s Bar Sweet Potato with Apple Carrot Ginger

This gluten-free, non-GMO energy bar is made with natural ingredients including dates, apples, quinoa, sweet potato powder, carrots, ginger, and more. It has 4 grams of both fiber, as well as protein.

Hubs Home Cooked Salted Virginia Peanuts

Lightly salted home cooked peanuts from a family-owned company. Made with just peanuts, coconut oil, and salt.

Nutiva O’Coconut

An organic coconut treat made with fair trade coconut, coconut flour, monkfruit, tapioca syrup, and other natural ingredients. Each piece has just 60 calories. I tried one shortly after taking these photos and it was a lot better than I was expecting it to be.

My Super Cookies

How cool that they included not one, not two, but THREE packages of these organic, 100% nut-free cookies! Each flavor is made with whole grains including quinoa and chia, along with superfruits like baobab and acerola. They’re free of high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, preservatives, and artificial colors. Plus, each serving has an impressive 18 grams of whole grains!

Nature’s Bakery Strawberry Honey & Oat Bar

Nature’s Bakery is another subscription box favorite in our house. (We buy their fig bars on a weekly basis.) This is the first time I’ve seen a Honey & Oat bar, but I’m guessing it’s just as awesome, being that it also contains no high fructose corn syrup and is made with real fruit & whole grains.

Nature’s Bakery Salted Caramel Brownie

I’ve had a couple different flavors of these soft baked brownies, but this new salted caramel version is hands-down my favorite. You’d never know it was made with organic stone ground whole wheat, organic dates, and other natural/vegan-friendly ingredients. Yum!!

SnackSack does it again! I think it’s safe to say that this is now my absolute favorite snack subscription. Oh, and did I mention that they’ll be offering 100% vegan boxes starting next month? Yep. They just keep getting better…   — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 25% on your first box with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE25″!
