January 2017 Emma & Chloe Review

Ever have one of those days that just seems to exist only to mess with you? Yeah, that's me today. The highlight of it all?  I'm at the gas station, grabbing a bit before I have to pick up my kiddo from school, something I've done a million times before, and as I begin fueling, the pump hose splits. Gasoline sprays all over my clothes, my car, my hair, and my face. They shut the pump off but unfortunately, I still got a gallon of gas everywhere. I'm fine, obviously, but I have now showered 3 times and I still smell gas in my hair. I'm going to be flammable for hours and the stink is just awful. One thing that can let me forget about this for a bit is writing my reviews, so let's distract ourselves with the January Emma & Chloe box.

Emma & Chloe, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a Monthly jewelry subscription box. For $35 per month, subscribers will receive an absolutely beautiful piece of Artisan jewelry crafted by French designers. Lovers of special, unique items will adore this because these aren't pieces you are going to find in your local, everyday shop.

The enclosed booklet gives you a note from the editor and other information about Emma & Chloe and the jewelry they offer.

The book also gives you all the details on the months featured artisan and a list of other beautiful pieces available on the website. This month's featured designer is L'atelier Clandestin.

Ring --- "Born and raised between Paris and London, the Atelier Clandestin designer was influenced by luxury Parisian and London mix and match as she likes to say.
This ring is plated with gold or deap coated in a silver bath and set with labradorite or onyx stone." - via Emma & Chloe

Isn't it just beautiful? I like be the size of the band and the etching detail on it and the center stone is a perfect extra touch. Also, I love that it's adjustable! I have super tiny fingers so it's a must for me when wearing rings.

I'm really very impressed by my first Emma & Chloe box! Yes, it is a bit pricey for just one piece of jewelry, but I think that the artisan craftsmanship and the fact that each item is so unique that it really does justify the price. I will certainly treasure this ring for years to come!
