Bret mentioned that after a vacation in Montana, the family was driving towards the airport on an icy road. This is when they met the massive car crash and the accident happened. The anchor and the executive editor Bret gave up such a statement on Fox News this Tuesday.

The hospital has discharged by now the anchor along with his wife Amy and both the sons Paul and Daniel.
