Bansko has twenty one ski runs that 35% are for begginers, 40% - intermediate and 25% for advanced skiers. The total lenght of the ski tracks are 75km, and the longest of the ski tracks is 16km long. About 90% of all tracks are equipped with snow canons for long lasting and high quality artificial snow cover. A cabin lift takes the skiers from the starting point of the ski lift station (Gondola) in the town of Bansko to Banderishka Polyana. The town is connected with the ski zone and with a 7 km long ski road. From Banderishka Polyana there are several lifts that take you to different ski slopes, such as Kolarski and Banderiza. The ski season in Bansko lasts from 15 December to 15 May.

The local traditional taverns, called “mehani” are designed in typical Bulgarian style from the 19th century and most of the time they have live music to entertain the guests. They offer many traditional drinks and dishes from the region of Bansko such as Rakia, Bansko kebab, Chomlek etc... The night clubs in Bansko like Jack's house, Oxygen and Flash open at midnight and work until the morning. The people there are best known for their hospitality and friendliness, so you will definitely remember the time spent there.
