Dealing with struggles, endeavors, ups and downs and the magnificent journey from a Railway Ticket Checker to the India Cricket Team Captain, this movie touches various strings of emotions. Sushant Singh Rajput as Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the movie has done his dream movie. This is going to be the revolutionary win of his stardom and Bollywood acting career.

It is very difficult for a small-town boy to come along with his passion and make the world believe that he is talented. And the Director Neeraj Pandey has portrayed it beautifully. Basically, this biopic deals with Dhoni’s life and gives the perspective of his life before he landed in the Indian Cricket team.

The story starts with Dhoni’s childhood as a football goalkeeper. He then takes cricket as his passion and later turns a district level player.

Intended to be a Railway TC as planned by his father (Anupam Kher), Mahi faces a lot of challenges throughout. Anyhow the whole journey gets swift enough with the support of family and friends. His sister (Bhoomika Chawla) is always a supporting stand to him. She understands where his brother needs to be. And with his grit and determination he succeeds being the captain of Indian Cricket Team.

Apart from his struggling days, the scaffold of the movie also illuminates the tragic love life of Dhoni. And how he finds the love of his life in Sakshi (Kiara Advani)? It is interesting to watch him romancing with both beauties and how he met Priyanka Jha, his ex-girlfriend (Disha Patani).

Talking about the performance of the lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput, he floored everyone. Anyone won’t stop raving this actor’s gritty performance and onscreen presence. He is really a hardworking actor in the industry. Be it the MS dhoni’s hairstyle, body language, appearance on screen, mannerism and every minute thing we notice in Mahi, Sushant imbibed everything by heart. At many of the scenes, one would get the feel of watching real Dhoni.

Although the supporting cast also did magnificently well. Anupam Kher the stupendous actor as a concerned father has done a great job. Bhumika Chawla after a long time has made a comeback and justified the role of a caring and loving elder sister.
