Bisa Kdei comments on criticism over his song ‘Brother Brother’

Bisa Kdei

King of contemporary highlife Bisa Kdei, known in private life as Ronald Kweku Dei has shown infuriation over reports made by a media critic who wrote an article saying Bisa’s hit track “Brother Brother” doesn’t qualify to be nominated in the VGMAs of this year.

According to writer’s point of view, the Song is not right for getting nominated in Ghana’s biggest award scheme because it contains some irrelevant contents. Mostly people don’t agree with him because they don’t find anything wrong with that specific word Bisa used in the track.

From their view point, the word was only showing the height at which Bisa was expressing how glad he felt (in the song lyrics).

The Mansa hitmaker said,

“I felt saddened when I read the article, and the reason behind that is, as a media personality who knows Bisa Kdei, he should have informed me about its irrelevancy at the moment the song was released.”

“He shouldn’t have waited for the track to be a big hit before he pointed out stuff like that, especially in a time when award schemes are coming nearer.”

To be honest, we think that this song is a great song and has no irrelevant contents in it since it only reminds us of those friendly jargons used in our mundane lives.

Do you agree with the critic who thinks Bisa’s “Brother Brother” has irrelevant elements and shouldn’t be nominated in this year’s VGMAs?
