The Cry of Love is the 1st posthumous album by one of the greatest guitar players (and musicians) in rock ‘n’ roll history, Jimi Hendrix. First released in 1971, the album presents some of the very last songs Hendrix wrote before his death and some of studio works. Despite not being completely finished, the album received positive responses from music critics and did well in charts (in UK and US).
