Barcelona player, Arda Turan has been sentenced to jail over charges of firing with a gun in a hospital after a dispute with a pop star. The court ordered a suspended jail sentence to him for three years.

Last year, Mr. Turan has clashed with Berkay Sahin at Istanbul nightclub and the scuffle lead to the nose injury of the pop star. The famous singer was immediately moved to hospital for nose surgery. Barcelona player reached in the hospital later requesting forgiveness and shot with a gun at its floor.

The court accused the footballer of creating panic, possessing a gun illegally and deliberate injury. However, he will not have to remain in prison except he commits any other offense in the coming five years.

Mr. Turan has to pay a fine of 2.5 million Turkish lira to his club Istanbul Basaksehir. Now, Barcelona midfielder has apologized to his family and club for his crime. He said that he has learned lessons from his mistakes and promised to correct his behavior.

Turkish midfielder, Arda Turan started his career at Galatasaray and remains linked with Spanish club Atlético Madrid till 2011. Barcelona club loaned him to Istanbul Basaksehir last year.
