Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya

Nach Baliye 9 contestant Natasa Stankovic and cricketer Hardik Pandya have given good news to their fans. The cricketer went on his knees to propose his girlfriend Natasa Stankovic amidst the blue ocean. Natasa and Hardik exchanged the rings and sealed it with a kiss. And all of this happened on January 1. While sharing a video and pictures from the proposal, Hardik also captioned the popular Hindi song, Mai tera, Tu meri jaane, saara Hindustan.' His caption also read, "?? 01.01.2020 #engaged"

Bigg Boss 13

Bigg Boss 13 has been in the news since the start and even this week has been an interesting one. The highlight of this week was Rashami Desai and Mahira Sharma's nasty fight. We also saw Sidnaaz fans' heartbreak as Shehnaaz Gill was not on talking terms with Sidharth, Paras and Mahira. However, Shehnaaz and Sidharth sorted out things and are back together. Bigg Boss 13 has been also doing well on TRP charts as well.

Nehha Pendse

The soon to be wedded couple Nehha Pendse and Shardul Singh Bayas kissed each other. On January 1, Nehha shared a picture of their lip-lock and you cannot miss this picture. Nehha Pendse is getting hitched to Shardul on January 5 and the wedding rituals have begun and the pictures of it are taking the internet by storm.

Mohena Kumari Singh

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Mohena Kumari recently got married to Suyesh Rawat in Haridwar. The two had a royal wedding and she looked beautiful in her red lehenga. The actress had covered her face with a veil during her wedding. She recently posted a family picture of her wedding on Instagram where she is seen covering her face. One of the users on Instagram questioned her for covering her face with a veil and Mohena gave it back to her and made it very clear that she was not forced to do so. One user wrote, "because these are people who follow their so called male dominated rituals. Even education doesn't get them a brain." Some called Mohena as backward. Another user wrote, "Nothing to do with any particular religion.. but such rituals, whether in any religion, are incorrect owing to the fact that such rituals are always meant for a woman whether in any religion .. and being the aware and the enlightened person that you are, you can always choose not to follow such rituals which somewhere surely are responsible for women inequality !" Mohena had a smart reply to these trolls. She explained them how the same tradition is followed in Christianity and Islam. She wrote, "Even Christians have a veil when they marry...and so do Muslims...I guess they are all uneducated too! Its an age old Rajput tradition which Rajput women follow when they get married. This was not forced upon me...I chose to do it."
