How can Jesus be God if he was born?

There exists a great misconception among disbelievers regarding the Existence of the Messiah. Many say that since Jesus was indeed born by way of the virgin birth, as told by Matthew and Luke, that this is sure evidence that disqualifies him from being divine, seeing as God is eternal, having neither a beginning nor an end. But was the birth of the Messiah really the beginning of his existence?

When we read the gospels, we see that Jesus clearly had an existence before his PHYSICAL birth:

1) In John 17:5, Jesus told the father to glorify him with the glory he had BEFORE the world was created. This shows us that Jesus had an existence BEFORE his earthly birth.

2) In John 8:58, Jesus told the religious leaders that he existed before Abraham was born. Abraham lived thousands of years before Christ. This shows us that he had an existence BEFORE his earthly birth.

3) In luke 10:18, Jesus told his disciples that he saw Satan fall down from heaven like lightning. This event happened before the fall of Adam and Eve. This shows us that Jesus had an existence BEFORE his earthly birth.

4) In John 1:30, John the baptist tells us that Jesus is greater than him because he existed before he was born. When when we read the gospel of Luke, we see that John was physically born 6 months before Jesus. This shows us that Jesus had an existence BEFORE his earthly birth.

In light of the above verses, we can clearly see that the virgin birth of our Lord was NOT the beginning of his existence. Rather, it was the way in which he came into the world as a human being to serve as the sacrificial lamb for our sins. It was the beginning of his humanity, not his existence.
