UPSC Full Form:- The full form of UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. It is the central agency responsible for conducting competitive exams for prestigious government jobs. The top priority for most candidates is to secure a position in IAS/IPS. Established on October 1, 1926, the UPSC exam is not easy to crack. Out of lakhs of students who apply, only 1% get selected. IPS (Indian Police Service) is the second most desirable position after IAS. IPS officers are trained at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). They are appointed to organizations such as RAW, IB, and CBI. IPS officers play a crucial role in maintaining law and order in society and are always on alert to handle emergencies.

IFoS (Indian Forest Service) has the highest post of DG of the forest for the central government. The DG is appointed directly by the President of India. IFoS officers come under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. They also have the opportunity to work at organizations like the Food and Agricultural Organization.

There are other Group A civil services under UPSC, including IFS (Indian Foreign Service), ICAS (Indian Civil Accounts Service), ICLS (Indian Civil Law Service), IDAS (Indian Defence Accounts Service), IDES (Indian Defence Estate Service), IIS (Indian Information Service), and IOFS (Indian Ordnance Factories Service). Each service has its specific responsibilities and training requirements.
