It depends on what we’re talking about. If I’m really LOOKING for a Lordship like that, then I’d use Placidus instead. It feels more authentic because of the changes in the horizon. I use Whole House when I’m looking for like…. numerical aspects, things that really need an even number.

If you have a House preference, then sure, Venus is your 10th Lord when it’s in Taurus. I just don’t use Whole House for a regular birth chart reading (but I’m not the keeper of the opinions of every astrologer! hahah), so I’d say no, that’s not it.

Also, I wouldn’t use Whole House for one aspect and then change to Placidus for the rest of your chart. That’s cruising for a bunch of confusion.
