Although the two planets very different, Jupiter and Saturn in my opinion can show the places where we’re snobby and arrogant about.
Jupiter is the planet that grants us luck and talent. With Jupiter, there is a natural inclination to be optimistic and skillful at whatever you do in the House it’s located in. However, with Skill comes arrogance. For example, if you have Jupiter in the 5th House, your hobbies and creativities can come easily to you. However, when you see other people struggling with a creative block, you may think, “How is it so hard to be creative? It’s so easy for me!” In other words, Jupiter can make us arrogant due to the easy flow of our skills.
Saturn makes us arrogant in another way. Unlike Jupiter, skills do not come to us naturally. With Saturn, there is no optimism. With Saturn, we gain the skills we are good at due to pain and learning. However, like Jupiter, you can be snobby in the House your Saturn is located in. With Saturn though, there is more mature, yet discriminating understanding of a certain issue. For example, if you have Saturn in the 2nd, you may have felt the pain of not feeling secure with your money, but over time, you’ve learned. You can watch someone struggle financially and think, “I’ve been there before, but like… years ago. How can they not think of the consequences and be practical about it?”
Of course, this is how our Jupiter and Saturn can act up if we used it in a negative light. Jupiter can be used to help inspire others while Saturn can be used to teach others.
