Depending on whether it’s in the 3rd or 7th (Whole House), it describes an overcompensation, too much dominance in one particular area. 

A business Partner (7th) makes you feel like survival is completely dependent on them. You may have a partner (7th) that brings a lot of friends (11th), making you feel that the survival of their Friendship is dependent on your partnership. The presence of partners plus friendship equals stability (11-7=4), which you feel that you need for survival.

As for the 3rd House, you may dominate (Pluto) your friends through means of communication, connections, and technology. You need your ability to communicate in order to feel like you’re surviving; losing your voice in friendships makes you feel powerless and weak. The way that you communicate will often undergo transformations (11-3=8), meaning that you may often lose friendships, destroy networks, and transform connections voluntarily or vice versa.
