The Indian Institute of Technology ( IIT) Jodhpur has joined hands with  Swiggy's Applied Research team is planning to develop a facial recognition system based on Artificial  Intelligence and Computer Vision.This will strengthen the security and compliance and Artificial  Intelligence Capability of the Swiggy Platform. This will help them to provide the best and smoother experience for customers and partners.

The partnership between Iit Jodhpur and Swiggy was established when Swiggy identified the need and Importance of Artificial Intelligence driven capability that  identifies faces from various types of Images and selfies.

This faces will identify with the person's identity against selfies taken via the app. This technology has the capability to provide various advantages in several applications of fraud detection, Impersonation, shift attendance etc..

IIT Jodhpur research team has been working on developing robust face recognition solutions for more  than a decade. The partnership with Swiggy provides an opportunity to advance research for solving real world applications that matches the document Identification with various types of Images and Selfies.
