Jio Institute, a multi disciplinary higher education institute by Reliance Industries and Foundation is starting first academic sessions on July 21. An inaugural program was held today and welcomed first batch foundation students for the sessions. The institute has already started receiving applications across the world. 

Not only from India but also from other nations students have joined the Jio institute. It is a healthy mix of geographic and gender university.Apart from students in India from 19 states other countries include South Africa, Bhutan, Ghana and Nepal. The batch is a mixture of diverse discipline of students including Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce. Mass Media and management.

Jio institute in its first year is offering two courses namely Post Graduate Programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Digital Media and Marketing communications. The founding classes requires an average work experience of about four years. in diverse fields including advertising, banking, construction, automotive, digital media, healthcare, microfinance,logistics,pharma,oil gas, telecom,government ,edtech, fintech,NGO and so on...

Addressing the First batch students The chairperson and founder of Reliance Foundation Neeta Ambani addressed the students. She said Everyone has great potential and  responsibility of shaping their own career and also India's future. Just need to learn and work with passion and Imagine with out fear to achieve great heights. Every batch of this institution is so special as every student will contribute to the growth and cultural fabric of this institution. The first batch and class of 2023 is always extra special . Their contribution is more valuable and help envision and imagine an infinite possibility
