Government will conduct Final Year Examinations soon

Areas where conducting examinations would be difficult The Government is planning a new arrangement system for students. In those areas, the First-Year Students will be promoted to the second year based on their Internal Assessment conducted by respective colleges.

Marks for Second Year students will be awarded based on their average marks of current Internal assessment (50%) and the average of total marks obtained in the previous year (50%). If the conditions don't improve by July the Government will announce new dates. The government will give top priority to student's safety first.

Union Minister for Human Resource and Development Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal had conducted The Live Webinar with more than 45,000 Educational Institutes and Professors on Wednesday. In the Interaction, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the government is going to conduct examinations for final year students of all universities across India.

The Minister said that Students are utilizing the lockdown period very well. Around 4,70,000 students have downloaded the JEE Main and NEET practice app. The Central Government is focusing more on online education by bringing the education on broadcast channels like Swayam Prabha and also on various internet sources. Swayam is now the largest platform in India, Students have also used other e-learning platforms like e-pathshala and Diksha.
