Every year, on March 21st, the world comes together to celebrate International Day of Forests. The theme for 2024 is "Forests and Innovation: New Solutions for a Better World." 

The theme clearly highlights the role of innovative approaches for protecting our vital forests, recognizing the crucial role forests play in our environment and and overall health. It is a perfect time for researchers across disciplines, geographies and stage of training to come up with ideas to support sustainable forest management.
