Helping children learn independance and responsibility can be an interesting challenge. It turns out with some visuals and a time managing Chart, this goal can be acheived with ease.

Reasons I Like This Chart

This responsibility chart allows children to visually see what is going on through their day. By adding time slots along with their responsibility, they can learn time management skills as well.

Another feature that caught my attention was that this chart was magnetic. I thought this was a great idea to hang on the fridge, which is a central location for many.

My all time favorite feature is this chart is dry erase. This allows children to make mistakes and start fresh the following week. A fun way to encourage a positive future.

Educational Idea

Once you have your magnetic chart hanging, a great idea would be to add times. Before a child checks off the box, they have to consult the clock to see if their choice was okay. For example, a child is five minutes late for bed. If the child was playing, the child has to find a way to keep track of time. If the child was focused on homework, this would be an okay reason.

Features I Was Not Fond Of

To be honest, I did not like the included magnets. Since they were made of foam and very bendable, they started to wear and tear pretty fast. As of writing this review, one five-year-old already destroyed one magnet. The concept of them was cute, but it just did not work for us.

How I Feel About this Magnetic Chart

My Overall feeling is I like this chart. I highly support having it and using it regularly in your home. I would not only recommend every child in the house have one, but as an adult, I can benefit from this chart as well. A great way to keep a schedule and maximize productivity across the board.
