What is your job/title at CalPac? Middle School Homeroom and Science Teacher

How long have you worked CalPac? I have Worked at CalPac for 2 years.

What do you love most about teaching at CalPac? I love the administration, their support and consistent communication. The middle school staff is amazing! Overall, our school has the best group of dedicated teachers I have worked with in my 17 years of teaching.

What is your favorite book?  I don't have much time to read anymore however, I loved the Trevor Noah book we read for book study this year!

What is your favorite candy?  Twix

What toppings do you like on your pizza? Ham & Pineapple or Deluxe

What are your interests outside of work? Spending time with my family, working out, having six kids, doesn't allow for much more than that.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? Anywhere there is a beach, warm weather and lots of sunshine!

Who was your favorite teacher in school and why? My favorite teacher was Ms. Eisenhauer. She was my physiology teacher in high school. She was one my younger teachers and she make learning relatable to her students. I learned how to take excellent notes, enjoyed dissecting a cat, and she just had that personality that made her likable and impressionable.

What advice do you have for CalPac students? You are in the stage of your life where you have the ability to learn so many new things. Take advantage of these years, because once you hit the real world, you have to become an adult. Listen to your teachers' advice; realize that they have your best interest at heart and learned through life experiences. Stay focused, motivated, and show off your true potential! Believe in yourself!
