First starting from the CBSE Rechecking 2018.

CBSE Rechecking 2018

It is only the re-calculation of marks. Examiner can check/see the marks given by the previous examiner. It checks only the calculation mistakes done by the previous examiner. CBSE Rechecking can be done for all the subjects and for both Class 10th and 12th. CBSE Rechecking was introduced many years ago and will continue forever.

CBSE Revaluation 2018

This was done by another examiner who cannot see the marks given to a particular answer by the previous examiner. CBSE Revaluation check evaluation mistakes for each answer and assign fresh marks. The revaluation was done for maximum 10 questions. This process was done for selected subjects of Class 12th. CBSE Revaluation was introduced in 2014 and was decided to discontinue in 2017. But now it will be conducted again this year.

CBSE Rechecking Form 2018: Complete Procedure Here!

Students who want to get their answer sheets rechecked need to apply online through the official website. Below we have provided the step-by-step procedure to fill the CBSE Rechecking Form 2018.

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: Click on the appropriate Rechecking/Verification link for Class 10th and 12th.

Step 3: After clicking on the link, a form will be displayed. Fill all your details in the form.

Step 4: After filling the details, you will have to upload the documents as mentioned in the form.

Step 5: Now you have to make a payment of Rs. 500 per subject through credit/ debit card or through e-challan.

Step 6: Now click on submit button and take a print out of your CBSE Rechecking Form 2018.

Note:

Fee payment will not be accepted offline i.e. you cannot pay the fee through Postal Order/DD/Money Order/Cheque etc. If a candidate is not in India during the online process, then the application can be submitted online and the fee be submitted through DD in favor of “Secretary, CBSE” drawn at the place of respective Regional Office of the Board. Request for verification will only be accepted once. Another chance will not be given. The CBSE Rechecking Result will be declared online. If a mistake is detected, a formal letter will be sent by speed post. Students must also note that the request under RTI for verification of marks will not be accepted.
